What a day

Ok, so today is Halloween. It is supposed to be a day of excited children waitng for candy with outstretched hands, dressed in costume. My child will not experience that this year. His dad thinks that he is too young this year to go, and with no vehicle I will not be able to take him anywhere. There was a b'day/halloween party today for our moms group, but that was a no go as well. So today our costumes are our jammies and what better costume is there really.
Maybe next year we will get to take in the excitment that is this day, and I am seriously hoping that we do so somewhere other than here, preferrably Alabama.

Jump start

Well, I signed up for the NaBloPoMo so I figured that I would try to get a head start on Wed. and start today. I am not sure exactly what I will write about everyday, but I am sure that I will find something. So, if you are interested in watching someone struggle for ideas, just stop by here through November, and I am sure that you will get a laugh, if not at my post, then at my grammatical and spelling errors. Slump

For some reason I have bneen feeling down lately. Not sure why, but just in a slump. I have not felt like posting a blog or doing a lot of the other things that I normally do. I have had a very short fuse with the kids too, which I hate.I feel like I am a burden to people and hate that I have to lean on people so much.
I know that all of this is still some PPD hanging on since having Payton, but I am ready for it to just go away. I have a great group of moms that I love to hang out with and talk to, but even there lately I am just feeling funny.
Now I know some of them will read this and please don't read into it any more than what it is, I am just feeling uggh, it will go away eventually.
OK vent over, back to other things

I downloaded my first digi scrap kit yesterday and although it took forever with this stupid dial up, I am hooked. I downloaded another one today. I can't wait to have DSL so that I can really get going. Now all I need is a good camera and I will be set.

Top 10 reasons.....

Our landlord sucks.

10. Instead of getting paid rent once a month he comes knocknig for it every week.

9. Last year he took out the gas tank that runs our heater. Since we can't afford to put it back, we have no heat other than space heaters.

8. He is using one of the out-buildings as storage for hay!

7. If the door is unlocked when he comes by he will let himself in.

6. Until we put a lock on the shed he would help himself to whatever tool he needed at the time without even asking.

5. He has random people cpme here with him to look at the house or do any work on it. Never the same person

4. When he comes to cut his stupid hay he will leave his tractor or equipment in our yard for weeks. Which means that we have to cut aroung them when we cut grass.

3. He had one of his workers weed eat in our yard this summer and he cut down the gourd plants that we were growing

2. He has been repairing windows in here for almost a year. He took them and we have not seen them since so is he really repairing them?

1. He is sending someone over today to change the electric over from old screw in fuses to an up to date fuse box. I have news for him though. If they have to cut the power for more than an hour it is not happening today.

Kiddos..

As I type this my 2 year old is stuck in his sisters exersaucer. Those of you who know him understand that this is typical, but too cute. My baby is fighting sleep in my lap. She really should be sleeping since she has been up since 6am. I should be too come to think of it LOL.
I love my kids so much, that at times, it hurts. I lost my mom at 15 and my greatest fear is leaving my precious babies. I don't like to think about it, but it is always floating in my head. I guess I am just a worry wart, but so be it.

Stupid wind!!!!

Well the wind is blowing its' ass off today and it took its' toll on me.
We had a dryer fire last week so needless to say our dryer is out of commission for now. Well I had to wash clothes today before we were overthrown by dirty clothes. So I hung them out off the porch ghetto style since I don't have a clothes line either. Well, the stupid wind picked up and it looked like rain so I decided to bring them in while I still could. I had gotten one set in and pushed the storm door shut to get the rest. That is when the stupid frikin wind slammed the door right into my ankle.
I finished getting the clothes and came in to asses the damage. I have a bad cut on my ankle and it has since swollen. I will see how it is later, but I will not be hanging anymore clothes out today.

Ok so I have not been as good as I thought I would about posting here LOL. It seems like life and kids just seem to make you forget about things sometimes. I am going to make a good effort to post here at least once a week now.
